Over the past few weeks the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has led to many closings of events locally and nationally. President Trump has declared a National Emergency and many colleges and school districts are canceling classes. Many prayers have been lifted up to God concerning the global Coronavirus pandemic. While Scripture clearly states that we are not to have a spirit of fear, it also calls upon us to be wise in our actions. With these principles in mind, and out of concern for the health and well-being of those at Calvary, the Leadership Board has decided to suspend activities at Calvary for the next two weeks, beginning Sunday, March 15, 2020. During this time there will be no meetings or services on Calvary's campus. Our current plan is to resume our normal schedule on March 29th with Sunday school and our morning worship services.
for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
